About Sam Darbyshire
Sam Darbyshire (born 26 January 1989)[citation needed] is a television actor best known for his role as Jamie "Fletch" Fletcher on the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. He has, however, also appeared in several advertisements and had a small role in Coronation Street. He belongs to a local youth theatre group in Wigan, Willpower Youth Theatre, near to where he lives in Standish, Lancashire. Sam is represented by Inter-City Casting who also represent fellow stars Carley Stenson and Ashley Slanina-Davies. In his final year of secondary school, Sam was involved in a production of the musical Grease.
